Second swap with King Alex and I can definitely recommend him. Communication was great once again and very beautiful coins! Looking forward to the next one!
One thing should be mentioned though: One of the plastic bags the coins were in was ripped and about a fifth of the coins were loose in the bubbler. Not sure how this could happen it almost looks like someone cut it open!? On our first swap the letter was wet and damaged. As this hasn't happened on my other swaps I really question what US Post does to the letters!

I wonder how that happened... After 7 successful swaps with Alex, US Post lost the 8th swap with amazing coins. How bad is that? Never had any problems before letters arrived quickly and easily but not this time. Alex was kind enough to tell me he will send me a replacement for the lost letter. I can definitely recommend him as an exchange partner. Absolutely one of the best collectors you can meet here!!

Decent swap with kingalex.

Packaging was not so good. The 40-something coins were basically loose and allowed to damage each other when transported and shaken, which I assume the USPS did. The outer envelope was cut or ripped, which resulted in two missing coins - accidental or stolen, I don't know. Coincidentally, early in our swap kingalex told me that a Numista swap with someone in the Netherlands not entirely pleased with his packaging because "if the postal employees hear that there are coins inside, they might end up missing. Lol." I think that is what happened here.

Two coins were of the same type (same KM#, for example) but were different years than confirmed. I was informed by kingalex that that was what the "pics are for. The double check." So apparently the confirmed swap list takes secondary precedence to the photos. That would not be so bad if the photos were really good. Here, the photos were very poor, often resulting in an inability to actually see details, such as dates or condition.

On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of many of the coins I received. Occasionally, photos don't do a coin justice (particularly my photos of coins). The photos kingalex provided generally did absolutely no justice to many of the coins I received. To be clear - many of the coins kingalex sent me were if fantastic condition, much better than what the "pics" showed or indicated - or what I expected.

In addition, kingalex added five extra coins, which is always nice. Kingalex is a timely communicator - responses and messages were fast and furious at times (in a good way). He got the coins in the mail to me extremely fast, with tracking, and, after some difficulties with USPS, the packet got to me in three days.

To summarize, good swap with some issues. But overall good.
