I have made several good swaps here on Numista. Some of them were good, Others were very good or excellent.
But Robert is of a class of his own: we agreed to a swap, but somthing went wrong and the coins he had sent to me were lost in the mail. Well, Robert took full responsability of the problem and sent another letter with all the coins he could send to cover those lost.
He even picked a coin from his personal collection to make sure the balance was right.
You may say "That's the way you do it, nothing exceptional". Yeah, that's the theory. But when it comes to real life, in these 18 years of swapping I've had some bad experiences with collectors denying any responsability for the loss of a non-registered letter, or asking to "share the loss". Robert could have tried to do the same, but he didn't even think about it, and immediately offered to solve the problem.
So, I can totally recommend Robert to any swapper: his integrity and honourability is simply 101%.

I had already swapped with Carlos several years ago, before Numista even existed, and it was a real pleasure to find him here after having lost his contact details. My first swap with André was one of the best experiences I have had on Numista and in general. Perfect communication, fast and safe shipping, lovely coins. But the most important point is that André is really a great person to communicate with. In many cases, here, I have to deal with cold and - sorry to say that - greedy collectors that are only focused on one single thing: getting as much as they possibly can from a swap. Well, André is different: he is a genuine collector and he doesn't try to "wrestle" in a negotiation.
