Medal - The Lincoln Coin Memorial Sudbury, Ontario

The former Numismatic Park in Sudbury, Ontario hosted replicas of five coins - a Canadian Nickel, a Canadian cent from 1965, an American Lincoln Memorial cent, an American Kennedy half dollar, and a commemorative Canadian $20 gold coin from 1967. Sadly, four of these have since been dismantled. For more on "The Canadian Centennial Numismatic Park" (see Theodore Arthur "Ted" Szilva).
The original Big Nickel & the Numismatic Park was (mostly) privately funded by Ted Szilva (TS), with partners (BC) Bruno Cavallo and (ER) mentioned on the reverse of this medal. Cecil Fielding (CF) and John Goodearle (JG) are mentioned on other medals that were sold to help raise funds for the projects.

According to Sudbury Numismatics - First Edition 1995 - by Jeff Fournier (page 17); "Medal orders poured in from around the world; but Americans who had requested them were in for a surprise! As reported in September of 1968 in Canada Coin News, Lincoln medals which had been sent to the U.S. were being confiscated at the border and turned over to the U.S. Secret Service for disposal. It seemed the Numismatic Park had been violating a section of the U.S. code which prohibits persons from creating any object resembling a U.S. coin, or having such an object in their possession."
