edit to add it appears to have a "S" mintmark below the eagle, but the pictures too small to make it out clearly.

Jamais l'or n'a perdu la plus petite occasion de se montrer stupide. -Balzac
Apparently it’s a better date (not key though). Please do some basic tests for fakes before you try to sell it though. Put it next to a magnet. If it sticks to it, it’s a worthless fake. Strike it gently with another coin while balancing it on your finger and listen to the sound. There are videos on YouTube that you can watch to get used to the sound of real gold versus other common metals. Measure the diameter of the coins (and the weight if possible) and compare them to the measurements in the catalogue.
these are just the more basic tests. If it doesn’t pass any of these, it’s fake and should probably be destroyed or turned in. You can send it in to get graded if it does pass the tests, but keep in mind grading is expensive!
Don’t trust me too much because I’m quite new here, but just some ideas.
It may be gold but it is clearly a fake 1855S. Even with the poor photos provided, there are glaring differences between your coin and an authentic one especially on the reverse.
