English hammered Penny?

Hi! Is there anyone that would like to wade in with an opinion on this coin's ID? I believe it to be English, I got it in a lot with a Elizabeth I sixpence and a edward IV durham penny. I did think athelstan but my eyes went funny and I couldn't see what I saw before.

I have MS and sometimes get vision problems, not ideal for a coin collector!
I am aware I that I have posted the same picture 3 times, I will try again when my eyes start behaving!
I think its supposed to be that way up. It looks like some kind of religious coin . Looks like a flagpole with symbols from the middle eastern area . I am not sure if that is supposed to be Christ on the cross and the lines to represent the disciples . Not English
