which is a shortened version of the usual >
GEORGIVS D G MAG BR FR ET HIB REX
itself in full is >
GEORGIVS DEI GRATIA MAGNAE BRITANNIAE FRANCIAE ET HIBERNIAE REX
translated as >
George, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland

Lastly, I have seen that reverse design used on a token with Queen Anne (facing left) on the obverse.

​Wow, that is fantastic work ZacUK. So it's a medal and not a token. Yes, there are differences in the observe lettering and portrait but the reverse is spot on. It has to be a different version of this medal.

Many thanks for your help. I don't think I would have ever gotten this far without it.
