19C Afghan coins

Hello I’m new to the forum so please help me if photo is not good enough. These coins were identified by the Keeper of the Coins at the British Museum for my father back in 1951, I was wondering if they are of any value? I have mor I shall post soon.

nice history, but you only have one simple question : and if it has any value? the answer is simple - it certainly has some value.

It is the approximate price that is indicative - the actual prices that someone is willing to pay
is on E-bay or other auctions, just enter the name into Google.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately as I have no idea of their denominations the link doesn’t help.

For the two silver pieces, check their weight and compare to the silver coins of Afghanistan. You should be able to identify the denomination this way.

Then try to read the date (I cannot read arabic but learned on numista in the calendar section on how to read the arabic date).
There usually will be a date and then sometimes a regnal date.

The two copper fals are probably more difficult, try and compare to exisiting pieces on Numista and if you cannot manage to identify send a identification request on the forum but only 1 coin at a time including two good pictures, weight and diameter.
