Weight to the nearest tenth of a gram and diameter to the nearest millimeter are needed for proper coin identification.

Having the reference to the Numista coin helps a lot. On the Numista coin the year is at the bottom of the second photo, and the regnal year is about 9 o'clock. These coins were reportedly minted between AH 1025 and 1029. On your first photo, corresponding to the side with the second photo in Numista, at the bottom appears a seven preceded by a possible partial one, zero, and two. So I would say your coin date is AH 1027.

As for the regnal year, since Jahangir acceded to the throne in 1014, 1027 would correspond to about 13 for regnal year, and indeed 13 appears on the Numista coin. Looking at the 9 o'clock position on your first photo I see a possible small seven and a possible large 8, though these could be decorations. I'm not seeing a 13 or a 12 or 14. So I'm not seeing a clear regnal year corresponding to 1027, but I believe that 1027 is the striking year.

I already experienced many times you have a lot of expertise but now you're confusing me. You say the year on the Numista picture is at the bottom of the second picture? But it's obviously at the top of the first picture:

Accordingly, the date on the poster's picture is partly off flan, difficult to say which date it exactly is since the only important number for determination (the last one since the three first numbers are the same on each date of this type) isn't visible:

As for the regnal year, it must be in the red rectangle but I'm sorry, it's not clear to me either:

You're right. I was looking in the wrong place for the date. The date on your coin (especially the last digit) is so much off the flan as to be indeterminate, and without a clear regnal year we can't be more specific. I think all we can say is AH 1025-1029, but that's a pretty narrow range.
