Possible Japanese or Chinese Coin [решено]

Found this guy in northern Japan recently, I'm from the US and have no clue where to start. If someone that has knowledge on these types of coins or even understands what characters say that would be extremely appreciated. The back is worn but appears to have nothing on it, the bottom character on the front is partly corroded over so I hope that doesn't prevent the coin from being identified.

Hello, weight, diameter and material of the coin would be helpful. Here is a coins which is similar to your coin.

Diameter is 23mm, thickness is 1mm and it's made out of copper to the best of my knowledge. I don't have a scale so I have no way of measuring the weight.
