17th century Farthing?

Hi,

Could anyone help me out here & identify this very, very worn coin.

I'm sure it's a farthing with a date in the 1660s or 1680s, but I can't find one with a harp on one side & a coat of arms on the other.

Any ideas?

Maybe? I don't see 1660 or 1680, I see a date that starts as 160

But I can read et hib on one side and posvi d on the other and that search lead me to that. Could be a farthing of the same time, but we don't have weight or dimension to compare, so can't say for sure.

Yes, I think you are right. It's in a sorry state with significant damage, but the measurements are roughly right according to this entry http://yorkcoins.com/ir1704_-_elizabeth_i_(1558-1603),_copper_penny,_2_55g_,_21mm,_third_coinage,_1601.htm
