I think it depends on which 1987s you've got. If they're bigger, older-style nickel dollars it looks like those were only issued as proofs or in sets and you could probably get a premium for them (assuming you find a buyer). If they're the smaller, newer-style bronze-plated loonies they're probably close to face value (unless they're proofs). Some people on eBay seem to be trying to sell the latter for a bit of a premium but I have no idea if they've managed to sell them at that price.
