I suspect that it may be a medallion or commemorative piece because I don't see an obvious country or denomination. I didn't find a match in Zeno. It looks like a possible date about 7 o'clock on the second photo, on the left after the writing. It looks to me like it might possibly be 1352 AH, which would correspond to about 1933 AD. Hopefully another member will come along who can read it for you.
Correction added in later edit: As correctly pointed out in the following comment (and excellent attribution), the date is 1352 SH, which corresponds to 1973 AD
