Pei yang (China) and Zwei mark (Germany) - Is it fake? [решено]

Dear all,

I got these two coins for a fraction of what they actually worth. Thus, it made me question the autenticity.
I have seen online fake Pei yang coins, but never Bremen marks.
Both are non-magnetic. The color looks like older silver, but the Pei yang looks like someone tried to clean.
Anyone more experience has any tips to assert authenticity? If they are authentic, I might send for grading.

Thanks much
start with accurate weighing and measurement of the coin, carefully inspect the edge of the coin, photos are needed clear, without packaging. According to the photographs presented, they are seen as a fake. Fakes are no longer magnetic and are suitable in weight.
In my opinion, both coins are counterfeit. First, please remove the 2 marks from the coin holder, then weigh both coins and report the weight. You can try to do a sound test, silver creates a bright high tone.

Hi all,

Thank you for the messages. I have made measurements of diameter, weight and done some high-resolution photographs with an optical microscope. Let me show the results for each coin.
PeiYang
Diameter: 39.30mm, Weight: 26.1g

The genuine coin should be 26.7g and diameter 39mm. So, this coin should be fake.
The sound hitting both coins is sharp, which makes me feel like silver. Can they be fake, but still made of silver?
I took some nice figures of the details, let me show.

2 Marks Bremen
Diameter: 28.35mm, Weight: 9.6g

The genuine should be 28mm, and 11.11g. So, another fake, unfortunately.
Anyway, the coin is still beautiful with some nice details, even though it is worthless.

Thank you all for the replies, they were really helpful.

Thanks for the great pictures.
The coins look good at first glance, but when you collect them for a while you get a strange feeling
for me a typical alarm signal when expensive coins are actually offered in unkind worthless coin holders.
I think the 2 Mark is a centrifugal fake, the copy is slightly larger than the original due to the manufacturing process.
if you have another 2 mark german empire coin can you please put both on top of each other?
Thank you for the reply!
Unfortunately, I do not have it. What do you mean by a "centrifugal fake"? I am a Mechanical engineer and getting these fakes got me curious about how they actually manufacture them. Plus, I'm intrigued by the material used, the density is so close to silver....
By the way, I paid around 9 USD for each of them here in Southeast Asia, and the fun of researching if they were fake or not already made me happy. So, no hard feeling on getting them haha.
Plus, I think I found a new hobby, photographing coins using a microscope. I was thrilled to observe their details with a high-resolution optical microscope.
Edit: I haven't seen another fake of the mark coin around internet so far, so at least it is a "unique" coin ahahaha
