Spanish 8 Reale Medallion [решено]

I ran across this 4" medallion with a Spanish 8 Reales reverse and I'm not sure of the obverse because of the glue someone applied to it. It seems to be bronze and that is about all I know about it.
I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere and I was wondering if anybody here might be able to shine some light on it. Could it be some kind of a tourist token or an emblem used for decoration of some kind? With it being 4 inches (100mm) wide I guess it could be anything. Do you think there is any value to this piece?
Clearly a fantasy piece. Even with the adhesive it looks as though both obverse and reverse are the same but one side is ground down for the purpose of mounting. Try acetone to remove the glue and maybe you can get a better look. Perhaps in a belt buckle or something similar? Sorry, I cant imagine there is any value to it.
Yes, I agree that I didn't see much value and if it once did have value, after the destruction on it it would be mostly gone anyway. Thanks for your eval. I tend to agree. Kurt
