Hi Xavier,

I have two coins from the Canadian Provinces. One of them is from Nova Scotia (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1064.html) and the other is from New Brunswick (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces14468.html). When I fetch them both via the API, they're both under Canadian Provinces, but there is no additional information available. There is no way to differentiate between them, other than the Id of the Currency. The name of the currency is the same though, so that doesn't help either.

Could you please include this information in the API as soon as possible? At this point, with the data available, there is no way of separating them for me. Also, could you please look into implementing the MinYear and MaxYear for a currency (point #3 in https://en.numista.com/forum/topic106065.html)?

Thank you!

Hello,

It's probably not the nicest implementation, but I added a field "full_name" for currencies. For example:
"currency": {
"id": 344,
"name": "Dollar",
"full_name": "Nova Scotia - Dollar (1860-1871)"
}

For the long term, it would be preferable
1. To split the issuers inside "Canadian provinces", so that we don't rely on the currency to determine the issuer.
2. Improve Numista internal data structure so that the dates of the currencies can be returned separately.
