Hi

I guess this proposal is somewhere in abstract field of bar talk, but here it is. Many times some collectors are saying how much their circulated coins from their country are truly worth (lets say coins in VF quality), especially when compared to Euro (personal experience), like twice or three times more. In such cases I usually go and check and present the prices of living on this page https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=Slovenia and compare the prices from both our two countries usually with the price of loaf of bread, canned soda drink, liter of gasoline, etc. Many of these collectors suddenly change their mind over their coins value.

Would it be possible to somehow calculate the ratio of the "cost of living" between my country and the country of other Numista user (only for circulated coins from both countries, if selected) in active swap and by this the users could actually feel more precise over the value of these coins in the swap. I dare to say that people in general do not know the cost of living elsewhere (not in the same currency region) and can be so pretty biased with the prices over their coins (in both ways lower or higher than actual worth).

This could be an upgrade of "Currency" in "Personal options" section on https://en.numista.com/vous/votre_compte.php.

Have a nice evening.

Nice, and the lord, having already mentioned ,,Bar's speech,, So let's get to it : Let me give you a Hamburger as an example.
I think there used to be an index - in the past and maybe still somewhere, is traceable.

150Kč-----$ 6.8
I'm starting: Czech Republic .... average wage is 150 CZK ....one hamburger ..150 CZK...... price of hourly work ( in restaurants and, is sold 250 CZK )
minimum wage 90 CZK ....... so on average half a burger

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3968.html for this we went to have an offer of 30 CZK -which doesn't make sense to me , I even found a collector here who had it for 40 CZK -I would buy a whole car but he only had one.( how do I exchange it for $ 1 worth of another coin)

At college I believe we use to call this thing "Differential pricing", or something similar...
