The article
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2071.html
in mintage section has these lines:
1958 0.8% narrow 8 in date " sun" under left arm
1958 428 000 10% narrow 8 in date; see comments
1958 900 000 1.7% wide 8 in date; see comments
1959 56 810 733 60%
1959 b.z. 0.8% "Sun" under left arm
Note. Obviously the percentage is from wrongly described occurrence of lines and has nothing to do with frequency as it expected to be. This is not the case of this topic.
The 'sun' has nothing to do with the Sun, it is just a die clash, that is garbage. For Numista guidelines say that errors should not be added in the date lines in which way is it possible to return the article to the Numista standards?
That is; to merge the lines
1958 narrow 8 in date " sun" under left arm
1958 428 000 narrow 8 in date; see comments
into one line
1958 428 000 narrow 8 in date; see comments
merging collectors' items together;
and to merge the lines
1959 56 810 733
1959 b.z. "Sun" under left arm
into one line
1959 56 810 733
merging collectors' items together.
Of course we have to respect the collectors who takes special attention to errors in any way, there is special market for such items, and many of them have high premium (see for example scars of war on the King's portrait https://www.delcampe.net/en_GB/collectables/coins-banknotes/coins/sri-lanka/scars-of-war-ceylon-25-cent-1943-george-vi-1937-1952-low-start-no-reserve-1276932631.html) , but it does not mean, that such errors and similar garbage may find way to this catalog.
