To sell a coin you need a buyer. There are lots of buyers for high quality 20th century coins, many willing to pay high prices. There are many fewer buyers for low quality old coins. Most coin collectors don't collect coins from Catalonia from 500 years ago, many wouldn't be aware the coins even exist.

And the "Numista Rarity index: 93" doesn't give any meaningful information on the value. It just reflects the number of Numista members who say they have the coin. Fewer people wanting to collect a coin will increase the rarity index but also lower the price you can sell it for.
