Can someone help me read the legends on the medal?
From the crossed swords I though this might be from Saudi Arabia but I have no idea to be honest.
Metal: Bronze
Weight: 28.93g
Diameter: 40mm
Thank you,
Paul

I’ll be able to say more tomorrow, but ignoring for now the first word (on the right) which I don’t know, the legend reads from center to left “al-harb al-3aalamiyyah al-thaani = Second World War (literally “the-war the-worldwide the-second).
Edit:
Top inscription:
ذكرى الحرب العالمية الثانية
"Memorial/Commemoration of the Second World War"
Bottom inscription:
١٣٥٨-١٣٦٣ هجرية
١٩٣٩-١٩٤٥ ميلادية
1358-1363 AH
AD 1939-1945
The name in the middle:
عبدالله بن الحسين
That would be the King of Jordan, Abdullah bin al-Hussain.
I think it would be a good idea to add it to the catalogue because I can't find it online anywhere (even with Arabic keywords, but I'm not an expert). I could do it, Paul, if you let me use your pictures (or else do it and copy and paste the Arabic).
The Medal for the 1939-1945 War (Midalat al-Zarari al-Herb al-Iradani Lasanat 1939-1945): instituted by King Abdullah I in 1945 to recognise those who served in military operations during the Second World War for a period of six months or more. Also known as the 1939-1945 War Medal.
I will try and add it, thank you.
