Timurid Coin? [решено]

I got this coin a few years ago in a junk box. I found coins labelled as Timurid with similar counterstamps in a wide range of shapes on the web, but I've never managed to find a hexafoil one like this, with the same (persian or arabic) script. Any help with identifying the counterstamp or host coin would be most welcome. The coin is copper (or bronze), weighs 4.7g (0.15Ozt) and has a diameter of around 1 inch (2.5cm). Thanks

On one side of the host coin, there's a design comprising several panels within a solid and a beaded circle. The central panel has a design that looks Celtic, but is flanked by panels each containing large arabic/persian characters. The top and bottom panels are worn flat, but the outline of the panelled shape has an Eastern feel.

The other side of the coin seems entirely filled by a geometric pattern, which I've completed assuming four fold symmetry. There's no sign of any writing.

The host coin has me baffled. Any thoughts on the host coin, particularly anything on the written characters or anything I've missed or misinterpreted, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Brilliant. I'd searched in vain for anything resembling the host coin OR the counterstamp and you've sent me links to clear images of both!
Thanks, I'd been looking for years!
