Anyone found any 2022 coins in circulation yet?

Please post any circulation coins released in 2022 along with a photo. Photos are required in order for your find to be added the list! (Photos don't need to have amazing quality, they just need to have a legible date.) Coins that do not use the Gregorian calendar (e. g. the Hijri or Korean calendar) and coins with a non-2022 date but released into circulation in 2022 count. This first person to find a type of coin will be added to the list below.

Not sure if this counts, but a good friend was in Peru in May and always brings me a coin or two from his travels as he knows I collect. He received this 2022 1 Sol in circulation.

I just received 3 of these in change with a D mintmark .

I got these from my mom's change a few weeks ago. They're all from Denver. I've found like 5 Maya Angelou quarters but haven't found any other designs for this year lol.

I think that part of the fun is showing the coins that one finds, rather then simply reporting that new coins exist. Photos also verify that one actually has the coin, rather then making it up for 5 seconds of internet fame.

They were in a bank tellers cash drawer and he was handing them out as dimes. I wish that I had been there sooner because he had given most away to other customers. Also got one in change from Tim Hortons about a month ago so if you are lucky they can still be captured in circulation.

I have had these for a little while now. Australia standard definitive 2022 Coat of Arms 50 cent.

And the standard definitive 2022 Aboriginal Man $2.

As reported earlier the 2022 Platypus 20 cent has already been issued.

But no sign yet of the 2022 Echidna 5 cent, Lyrebird 10 cent or Mob of Roos $1 definitive coins.

We also have had 26 of the $1 2022 Alphabet coins issued in change at Australia Post offices but they

are not what you would call normal circulation coins even though they are now being found in circulation.

All of them can be and have been found in circulation. I noodle a lot of $1 coin rolls and on average I strike at least 2 or 3 of the 2022 Alphabet coins in each roll.

Today I found my first Australian 2022 $2 Honeybee coin in circulation. I got it in change at a Woolworths supermarket when I was attempting to get some Commonwealth Games Coloured $2 coins. I got 2 of them and this was a bonus.

Today got 20-cent struck by France.

2022 Australian coloured $2 coins in circulation.

The “A” & “U” coins have been out for a couple of weeks but the “S” only came out last week.

You can of course also get all three of them in a seven coin set including four NCLT $1 coins for $15.

All of these coins are issued in change at Australian Woolworths stores at face value and are to celebrate Australia's participation in the Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham. Australia topped the medal count with 178 Medals.

Here they are - I have received all of them in circulation, either in change at the Post Office, or in coin rolls while noodling, or in change at supermarkets etc.

Starting with Letter “A” top left and ending with a coin showing the obverse with the 2022 date bottom right.

I got earlier today a Brazil 1 Real as change.

Edit: A friend have just returned from travel, and he gave me some United States coins, including a 1 cent 2022 without letter (a variant that isn't here yet).

Since my photo of the 1 real was yet to be taken, I've put the two together.

A USA 1 Cent from 2022 without a letter means it is from the Philadelphia Mint. Very common.

A USA 1 Cent from 2022 without a letter means it is from the Philadelphia Mint. Very common.

The cents with letters P and D have already been reported but not the cent without letter.

Edit.: Never mind, didn't noticed that the cent from Philadelphia don't have a P unlike the other denominations. And that it has already been reported.
