thick border and lines along the edge (instead than dots).

I found a third variation: https://www.ebay.com/itm/194365530921
On the obverse the short reeds can be seen between the long reeds in some places. The same seller has other coins with long reeds where the short reeds can't be seen.

My guess is they switched from short to long and this variation is caused by a sloppy conversion of a die.

(I purchased the coin after this discussion sent me on a search. I can try to take a picture when it arrives in a couple weeks, but my image is unlikely to be as good as the image in the auction. I'm still learning how to provide good light when I take a picture.)

they both have the short lines between the longer ones (as far as I can see) , but we need clearer images to make sure.
