Does anyone recognize this token? The seller said it was Japanese  (I guess because of the chrysanthemum) but I can't find anywhere to verify. Not even sure if it's WW2 era or WW1 or 1800s.

I can’t say I know how to identify it, but I’d say it looks more European with the fleur-de-lis and numbers on it. Try France perhaps?

Agreed. I was thinking European too. Maybe 1800s or earlier? French colony? Belgium? Military canteen? Occupation token? I don't have a token catalog that goes back that far. But my spidey sense says it's a good one. Thanks for reply.--Don
