Medal Identification - I'm lost!!!

I've just recently received numerous coins and a few odd items… This medal is one of them, I've scoured the net, bit to no avail…

Any ideas?

The medal appears to be cast of bronze, approx. 78mm's in diameter and 55mm's in thickness…
