Good morning,
I recently acquired this coin. I can work out around the back side it says Victoria with a figure standing and maybe some wings. I can see the letters in capitals either side of the figure S & C.
on the front side is a figurehead facing to the right. To the left of the head I think I can see the letters CA and to the right of the nose maybe MAX.
I’m new to collecting so don’t have scales (which I need to invest in) to get a weight. I think I can see traces of maybe a gold type material where few traces remain.
I did a Google search and came back with a Roman coin which looked like the image, maybe Nero Augustus. Any help identifying would be much appreciated.
