thanks for the cropping i think its either picture 1 or 3 of the reverse thats the right alingment for the coin

Anyone else have any idea on this one?

From the obverse and the size, I'd say 3rd century antoninianus, but I wouldn't begin to guess who is on it.

I've never seen a reverse like that at all. Usually the reverses have people/gods on them. Maybe its a Roman provincial rather than a Roman imperial coin? Still odd, but I know them far less. Also, I'm wondering if the lettering is Greek, rather than Latin, which would definitely make it a provincial coin.

Its garaunteed to be greek lettering so provincial

I'm so sorry. For whatever reason, I didn't see the part of your original post which showed Greek letters. I apologize.

The two last letters are necessarily the -ΩN ; which termination means “[coin] of the citiezens of”.

Yes, concerning a sporting event.

Your coin could be from Thyateira (if writen ΘYATEIΡHNΩN) or Nicaea (if NIKAIEΩN) or from one of several other cities.

Which side of the coin whould that text be on?

On the reverse.

I think that your coin is for Gallienus, as I seem to read [ΛI]KIN ΓAΛ[ΛIH]NOC on the obverse.

PSI can also be CHI or OMEGA in above
