Hi all Fans,

i have a question. Few weeks ago i had a chance to bought 1 Thaler - Ferdinand II of Tyrol Hall

But Lettering is: DVX BVRGONDI // COMES TIROLIS. As far i found others coins contains DVX BVRGVNDI…

Does anyone know how valuable the coin is?

There are some other tiny differences too:

Notice the dots between COMES and TROLIS as well as the small squares that beset the crown at the top.

Slipstreamed

many thanks for your remarks. And what about valuability ? It is somehow unique ?

I'm afraid I do not know.  Just pointing out some things to help other, more knowledgeable folks, chime in.

My opinion: clearly a reproduction/forgery. Made of that dull grey metal as usual.

Sure there are signs that it has circulated, but that is part of the design the forgers used.

Does not even look like silver. All without looking at a page to see what an original looked like.

Still would like to hear what other members think.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Is this what we're comparing it to: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces102719.html?

The pattern of the armor is different too.  Could it be a different mint?

I think I'm leaning towards modern reproduction like ZacUK said.  I'm guessing that thing feels pretty heavy.
