Early Medieval Coin For Identification

Can someone help me with this coin? 

The figures resemble those on Hiberno-Norse coins, but I am not aware of any with two figures. 1 Penny - Anonymous (Long Cross, One Hand) - Ireland – Numista

The cross reverse is similar to one used on some medieval English coins.

Not much help. 

Thanks for your input. These two figures are really intriguing. I've never seen anything like that either on English coins or continental imitations.
