Good day, can anybody help me with identification of below coin

Is it a coin or token from Lagow village (L letter) located now in the western Poland?

The other side of the coin is very poor

Will appreciate any comment

Thank you

Radek

Hello,Radek! All I can tell you is that what you have is not a coin but a token(this is for sure!).

For more info. other members will bring us their knowledge…

P.S.: Can you say what metal is the token made of? And its weight, diametre?

Bye-bye! 👋

Andi🤗

Hi Andi, thanks for your reaction

For sure it is a zinc material.

Diameter is ca. 30 mm, will check later on the precise dia. and weight.

In Lagow existed a “Rittergut” (large farm complex), which can be abbreviated "Rittgt", like on your token.

So maybe a token from that Rittergut?

Are there any other “Ritterguts”?

Yes, there were many other “Rittergut”…so it does not need to be from Lagow…

One of my first finds on Google was this document, with a similar token on the title page, and a whole list of Rittergute as a background image (starting from N only…).

https://wertmarkenforum.de/Downloads/WMF-Jg_21_2015_Ausgabe_1.pdf

The title article is just two unidentified tokens with little or no information, but perhaps it can serve as a clue for further searching, e.g. the source of this list of Rittergute for the letter L.

But sorry if I have tried to make you happy with a dead sparrow, as we say in Dutch (or as cats do).

Werner Stahl from wertmarkenforum.de thinks its a Rittergut L(imbach) or Rittergut L(ausnitz)

Maybe he is right as I have never found any information about Lagow coins

If someone else has other suggestions please let me know
