1 Cent - Elizabeth II HK banknote

Without any security features and a blank reverse, is there anyway of determining the genuine status of these notes.

Or is it always genuine because making copies wouldn't be worth the hassle for a note available very cheaply. 

Pretty much not even worth counterfeiting these so yeah, i'm sure its legit.
