I´ve noticed that magnetic and non-magnetic 1 cent 2015 are different in many small details: different starfish on reverse, different coats of arms on obverse, different fonts.

But the problem is that now I don´t have access to my collection, I only have the images that I made before leaving Russia, so I can´t tell which coin is which. Supposedly, the first one is magnetic, and the second one - non-magnetic.

I have both and will have a look at them later today.

On my two coins only the obverses differ, see my documentation below

I think your starfish differences on your image are a matter of light and shadows?

No, the starfish was completely redone.

On my images I cannot see any significant differences.

And also the coat of arms was redone. But at the first coin, where the starfish is more detailed, the coat of arms is less detailed. So maybe these more detailed and less detailed images may appear on coins in any combination.

I only see the difference in the typesets between the two coins?

Your coins are similar in all details except for the date. So there are 3 types of obverse:

1) More detailed coat of arms, large digits of the date

2) More detailed coat of arms, small digits of the date

3) Less detailed coat of arms, small digits of the date

First two types combine with the reverse with less detailed starfish, and the third type - with the reverse with more detailed starfish.

I still think, your coins have had more circulation time than mine, hence the fewer details.

Both of my coins are not just UNC but specially selected UNC among hundreds of coins to have neither scratches nor fingerprints (because occasionally I had that possibility last year). As for your coins, I can´t really define the grade because of their unnatural colour.

Look closer at my images. I called these obverses “more detailed” and “less detailed”, but actually the shapes are different:

1) Sun rays are separated or overlapped

2) The bird´s neck in front of the shield or behind the shield

3) Thick or thin border of the shield

4) Lowest part of the shield is round and not touching the ribbon, or sharp and overlapping the ribbon

and so on

For dot two i see a 2 on the date with serif.
