Hello everyone, would like to hear your opinion about this 1 Korona 1913 KB coin (unfortunately right now I have only these 2 pictures, as coin isnt with me right now).

Link to the coin: N#12865

Weight and dimensions of this coin are as they should be (diameter 23 mm, weight 5g).

I would appreciate any opinions about this coin, based on pictures, if you think it is authentic  (I am aware there are a lot of forgeries of these rare coins around), what do you think about condition of coin and it's possible grade,  and also what would be it's  potential value on market right now.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,this is again your romanian colleague!

Weight, diametre + edge photo(???),magnet test(for silver coins) & eye gained experience are all enough to determine authenticity in 99.99% cases. This, for ''modern'' coins (last several centuries). Much more difficult & tricky work is for the ancient coins: even professionals, specialists MAY BE sometimes fooled…

Back to your Hungarian corona 1913,IF all the above are correct/completed,my ''eye'' says that your coin is for sure genuine. KM catalogue market value is of 350usd. for an almost uncirculated piece (as seems to be yours,by only one side photos).

Hey there Romanian friend :)

Thanks for another reply and comment, as I mentioned above, weight and diameter are aa they should be for 1 Korona coin (23 mm, 5 g) and it also passes magnet test, doesn't react to magnet.

Unfortunately I don't have coin on my hands right now, so can't take picture of the edge and other side, but other side in pretty much same condition as side showed on pictures above.

Then,everything is O.K.!

Please, don't stress you longer: you have a real, genuine coin… Believe me! Forgeries look different and have incorrect data. Nice preservation of a low mintage year coin 👍

(The type, other years before & after,is very common, minted in more millions and found quite easily today in great grades,as almost all silver coins of prewar WWI,all european countries.). To compare, those years coins of your type are worth 5-10 usd.,even in mint state.

Thank you one more time for assistance 👍

Please,be my guest,friend!

Shoulder clapping or serious comments?

Anyway, always give the link to the coin in the numista database, if you want people to react to your message! Thanks.
