Need help identifying this coin #1 [решено]

I recently purchased a small Indian coin collection and I am having problems identifying some of them. The first one weighs 10.79 grams and 18-19 mm. It is silver.

My best guess is it is an Orchha one rupee C#32.  It appears to be regnal year 39 but the AH date doesn’t appear to be 1207 on the opposite side.  The C#32 also is 11.60 grams so my coin is light in comparison.  It also doesn’t look exactly like the C#32 in the Numista catalog. I also considered C#82 and C#42.

Can some with expertise with these types of coins give me some guidance?  Thank you.

Thanks for the replies. It does indeed appear to be a C32.

Can anyone make sense of the date?  It appears to be regal year 39, but the date on the other side of the coin at the margin at 7:00 doesn’t appear to read 1207.  Of course there is the possibility that the figure at 7:00 on the obverse does not signify the AH date???

The figure at 7:00 on the obverse does signify the AH date and it is AH1211

Here is link to an example where the date is more clearly visible https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=5567

So how would this AH 1211/39 convert to the Gregorian calendar?  Numista lists a RY39 as a AH1207 (1793) but lists a 1211 with a RY43 with a date of 1797.

The coins of Datia and Orchha have many weird date combinations and reading the date is not always evidence of when it was actually struck.

Checkout the various combinations here https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/india-princely-states-orchha-rupee-c-32-18-1258-38-cuid-1148885-duid-1485065 and there could still be more combinations not listed in Krause.

You will see that AH1211 have RY# as 39, 41, 43, 44

In another example you will see that the RY#45 is reported for AH1212, AH1214, AH1217

You will also see a combination of AH1257/RY#39

Honestly I would not waste time in trying to convert the AH Date/RY# on these coins into Gregorian calendar.

If any combination is missing in Numista page, just modify and add it.

Thank you andre48 and Parimal for your help.  I do like these older Indian coins but they sure do present a challenge for me to type and date.  Thanks again.

I like those coins.

I love these coins. I haven't seen them before. I was searching for this https://casinosnewzealand.co.nz/casino-reviews/zodiac-casino/ website online because over there I can read reviews for online real money gaming sites and also can get amazing offers.
