Counterfeit Spanish Silver

I bought this in an online auction based only on pictures and it would appear that I got smoked. I don't think the seller was aware of this being fake based on how it was labeled, but who knows. Weight is about 5 grams light diameter is right on that's about as close as we get to authentic. I have included several pictures of the coin a2 of them indicate areas that caught my attention initially. could have possibly been variations but the magnet doesn't lie.

Be careful with online purchases when you don't know the seller. Luckily I am only out $30USD on this one.

Gotta be careful buying anything these days, people are quite happy to fake anything.

Often adding a disclaimer that the weights are not guaranteed. ;)

This was an online auction house that I have done plenty of business with. I feel lucky to have only been burned twice in my years of buying coins. Serves as a good reminder to do my homework before bidding in haste.
