I have several of these from the family. I believe they’re Bavarian. I don’t see the date on the bottom of the Madonna (obverse side).
Anyone know if this is authentic, and date?
thanks!

Merci, 1868?
here is the site in English, sorry I had put you in French
https://en.ucoin.net/coin/bavaria-1-thaler-1865-1871/?tid=77042
Looks 100 percent genuine to me. Always check dotted pattern near the rim of the coin. If dots are sharp detailed, coin is 90 percent of times genuine. Lots of German silver coins have had very similar design patterns for years and I am already used to it.
Dotting is very detailed. Lettering on the edge also matches. Any info on the “undated variant” history and date?
There is a no date variant from 1865 N#15933 , if yours is genuine I can't make a comment on.

Okay, now I know what ND means! 1865 is not valuable, but I'll check the rest (when I get them). They have had these for as long as I remember.
Some background: My mother's family immigrated from Germany in the 1880's with Prince Solms, who purchased property in the Texas Hill Country. They established the town of New Braunfels. These may have traveled with them, perhaps?
Thanks you, everyone!
