1865 5 franc Switzerland

Please help me identify the price of this coin.  How much do you think is its price ?

as a first estimation, not looking for references maybe 90€-120€.

comparing to the other 5sfr - “Schützen”coins it has relativly high mintage of 10.000, design isn't convincing.

I have certain “problem” with toning of the coin. Everything but the rim has nice 90% silver orange patina. I am 100 percent sure it is genuine coin.

I cannot say the rim is cleaned, maybe the difference comes from storage in coin holder and this plastic layer stopping oxidation

So your coin is no better than XF-, bullion value is 12 dollars, numismatic premium at best 15, so around 25-30 euros.

Very few examples have some wear like this one.  On coinarchives there are many examples in mint state (or near MS) selling at 150 euro +/-

SO I am thinking the lower end of the range suggested by Stefan0205 is realistic.

If it's the same person that offered you some of the other coins you've posted here I'd be leery unless they've been validated by a third party.  Seems like a lot of wear for non-circulating Commemorative coin.

Well, if it is made of 90% silver, that is its melt value. I would buy it at that price

It is worth nowhere near 100 euros lol. 

Whether it is replica or not, it should be silver plated coin at least, just by looking at patina. It should be tested if you buy it. Not impossible that it is worn genuine coin. I have seen Morgan Dollars in worse shape than this coin

So how the fact something is sold on Ali transfers to this coin not being made of silver, worn out, even without testing it? I can literraly say for every coin someone puts in here it is fake and put picture from Ali to prove it. Nonsense lol. I guess people only collect graded mint coins so every coin in Fine or Very Fine condition is fake. This coin in this condition is worth 12 euros. 

So my advice is that you buy this coin, pay with PayPal if possible (not PayPal family and friends), test the coin, and return it to seller if something is not right. There is literally no risk there. And dont buy from facebook or ebay unless you are experienced

The facts are there are quite a few differences to an original and with such low mintages die variants are almost certain to be non-existent.

In addition anything else this account posted ranges from cruder fake to highly questionable at best. So you don't have to be a genius to deduce that this item will be in the same category as the rest.

hello yes there are variants for the coins according to the different dies and mints, but this is a non-circulating coin and produced in very few copies, so not possible as many differences, especially as coarse, it this is a fake can be made in China as there are many, to deceive collectors.
