7 mace and 2 candareens kwang-tung Identification

Hello everybody,

I live in London but I have my collection in Lisbon.
Two years ago I found this coin in the River Thames. It was wrapped in plastic and covered in wax. It has no magnetic attraction.
I can't find any references, does anyone recognize this coin?

The surface is in perfect condition after being cleaned, I think it has never been in circulation.

It's written 肅甘 "Kansu Province" instead of 東廣 “Kwangtung Province”

I bet the manufacturer made this error on purpose to indicate that it is not a genuine coin 😜

I was hoping it was really rare. I found it on a bank of the River Thames near Greenwich. From the box, it looked like something very valuable.

My piece of advice, we all make mistakes, always buy  graded genuine stuff from Asia. AliExpress killed numismatics literally. Stuff from Ali are sold in auctions in auction houses, not reputable ones but still it is present.  

Even if you get a genuine piece by chance, it may still be cleaned. It is a neverending circle in numismatics. First check authenticity, then look for traces of cleaning, then grade it yourself and maybe slab it in the end.

Of course, they hide important parts so that they cant be scanned and verified. Ebay scams are different level of selling counterfeit stuff. One has  to be familiar with looks and features of holders and buy stuff that have clear pictures in NGC ot PCGS database at least, and can be comparable with some features to original coin. I always ask for extra pictures from sellers apart from advertising pics
