Canada Coronation medal

Hello everyone,

I found a Canadian Coronation Medal

It has a very beautiful bust of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and the classic ER II with the crown above.

Does anyone have any idea of what these are worth? (Estimated in VF+ condition)
Is it in the catalog yet?

There are several. Could you post a photo or detailed description. This is my area of interest.

Can't post a picture right now, but here is a description.

Obverse: Queen Elizabeth wearing a crown with what looks like ribbons on her shoulders. No words.

Reverse: "Elizabeth II regina coronata mcmliii" around rim with E II R in the middle with a crown above and CANADA below.

That is it. Is it in the catalog already? Do you have any idea of the value? The one I have is in almost identical condition as the one you have pictured.

   There is one which sold for $8.75 and others have sold for higher or lower than that.

These sell at different prices on Ebay. However, I usually pick them up at coin shows for $1.00 or so.

I'm not worried to much about the value, I just ask because I didn't know if it was something that I should take more care with. It was thrown in on a deal with some early 1900's Austrian 5 korona's ( Or is that spelled with a C??)

Anyway. It is a lovely piece and I think they should have used the same relieve on circulation coins. It is one of the most stunning views of the Queen I have seen.
