Could someone help me identify what looks like a copper version of this coin

I have what looks like an either copper or bronze version of this coin. All looks almost identical. The year is 1255 and it has an arabic ‘3’

Any help is greatly appreciated 

Billon is an alloy, quite variable, mostly copper, and can take on a variety of hues.

If all the other details match, I expect you have identified it right.

Also your coin could cleaned to hell and back or way better condition then what we have on the coin page now. If it's the later case please post pictures.

Edit: I looked at the color channels and the values indicate that the pictures were edited and in gray scale so they are relatively useless in terms of color.

yes, treatment with chemicals can also change color appearance.

collectors used to do that routinely.
