Germany 1 Pfennig 1950

I found a 1950 1 pfennig coin from a bulk.  But material looks like Bronze instead of Copper-plated steel.

I do not have precise scale to weigh it but has anyone seen such a coins before?

Are they magnetic twice? When the copper plated have circulate a long time, it become brown, as our cents, so it looks like bronze.
