I have a 1 rupee coin from 1962 that is exactly the same as the one listed on here except the reverse says (or what I am assuming says) rupee in Indian instead of Latin. Should I create a new page or modify the existing one? Much thanks to whoever can answer this for me.
I saw this coin on my search, but figured since mine appears to be nickel instead of nickel brass that it might have needed to go under a different page. Sorry if there is something I’m not comprehending here. I’m sorta new to this. 🥸
Your piece clearly isn't the same colout metal as the 1 paisa. However, it could simply have been plated as well as holed. You say you think it's nickel. Is it magnetic?

I assumed from your title, “New 1 Rupee Reverse” that you actually thought you had and were comparing your coin to a 1 Rupee coin especially since you said, “reverse says (or what I am assuming says) rupee in Indian instead of Latin.” That last statement makes no sense if you were comparing your coin to the 1 Naya Paisa coin. Regardless, as ceh2019 said your coin is plated post mint.

Good thing I wasn’t comparing my coin to the 1 Naya Paisa. I didn‘t know exactly what I had, so thanks for educating me!

Yep, it is nickel-plated. I appreciate the help.
