Recently got this one, really have no idea what it can be. Dia is 23 mm, metal looks like zink, but a bit bright for it. I'm not even quite sure if I orientated it correctly Any help is much appreciated.

Difficult to say precisely the metal. It is not like a usual zink coin looks, I mentioned just due to dark edge. Fm another hand it's not like silver as well. So, it is a dilemma here

Hi, Here it is the photo. I examine the coin coin more carefuly and look like is silver. Thanks a lot for the help


Found it: al-Mahdi (158-169H = 775-785). Dirham 162H, Medinat al-Salam. Au nom d'al-Mahdi.  22 mm.  2,91 g.  A 215.1.

I think it is not a fake because the coin is high valued.
