A Tribute to Kim

8 сообщений • просмотрено 304 раз

Hello,

After the demise of my bestie, I have been re-introduced to the field of numismatics

One of the fondest memories I have with Kim is making a sheet of every currency with their mints or printers

We did this around 3 months ago & we did this until Kim's health deteriorated

We scoured every Central Bank for even the smallest piece of information, tender announcements, banknotenews.com, worldcoinnews.blogspot.com & everything could do, we did

I have this last piece of memory of him with me

I feel that I have this huge responsibility to do to pay tribute to the amazing life of Kim

I, alone, just can't do this humongous task

I need someone with whom, I could complete it

Here are the links

I haven't enabled the edit option because I don't want this to be messed up

Message me with your email address & I will give you the access to editing

Thanks for reading

Do Remember Kim in your Prayers

Best Regards,

Amraan Amjad

P.S - Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes

If you want, you could pay tribute to him here :- Tribute to Kim

So, I can show to his mum & dad

Numista Referee for Coins of Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Tunisia & Kingdom of Morocco
🇧🇭🇸🇦🇹🇳🇲🇦

He left very, very young to the other world.

Sincere condolences to his entire family. We numismatists have a huge advantage over ordinary mortals, we, the ferrymen on the boat to the other world, have something to pay for. Those who have the means to pay need not wander the shores of Acheron for a hundred years.

Therefore, I cast the metal and hammered out a round plate - I struck it with the coin punch of St. Gorazd.

I sent him a coin to pay for the ferryman Charon on the way.

I put the coin in the sacred natural well that is shown on the coin and put it in the ship for "Charon".

He will find her in the water.

I can't write it in the created link:

,, If you want, you could pay tribute to him here :- Tribute to Kim,,

If so, put it there for me or for us "numismatists"
Honor his memory.

That is so cool, Ivan! I really wosh I could mint my own coins, like you do. That would be awesome both as gifts and for commemoration and respect givings like this. Very kind of you!

I'm really sorry for your loss, Amraan. I will say a pray of love a peace so his soul may find rest, and so his family will find comfort.

Keep your head up, and take one step at a time.

Thank you,, ngdawa,, I just don't have enough strength to hit cast metal with a hammer. It is more difficult to create a patina to make it a thousand year old coin.

That is, on your knees, by hand like thousands of years ago

Sorry - I almost stole this thread RIP , was my numismatic life.

Dear Mimeal,

Thank you so much for paying for his ferry

Charon would be pleased to see this

I am sure this would find its way to rivers Acheron and Styx

I hope Hades would be blissful to him

Since very few people nowadays are familiar with Greek mythology, you should be aware that the word hades to most anglophone people is a polite way of saying hell. https://www.britannica.com/dictionary/Hades ,https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Hades

Weird actually English uses that word.

Hades was the god of the Hades (the underworld in general, so basically heaven and hell). Hades chooses where in Hades you will end up.

There are three possibilities;

Elysian meadows, more like heaven. If you had a good life you would go there. Kim would undoubtedly go there.

Asphodel meadows, purgatory. Most souls will go here. If you are normal and did nothing special you would go here.

Tartaros, hell. If you had a bad life you would go there.

Hello colleagues.

As a conscientious numismatist, Kimiji goes to the beginning of everything that connects us with coins -do not combine with means of payment - such as,, shells or pieces of metal, canvas, etc.,,

But really into the world of the first mass-produced coins on earth.

Elysium, where, according to Greek mythology, the souls of important referees went after their death
and coin collectors

Elysian fields -Where he will be transported by Charon in a boat on the other shore, according to writers and poets of the time in Greece, we understand it as the island of eternal spring. ,, It lies on the western edge of the country,,

We start from the texts of "Homer" however, it was clarified by ,,,Pindaros ,, 522-446 B.C ( he also wrote celebratory poems about the Olympic Games and achievements)

https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pindaros

The temple-palace is on that island.

Kronos

His children: Zeus, Hesti, Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera

All his siblings children, grandchildren are minted on millions of coins for a thousand years:Afrodita, Apollón,Héraklés, Athéna

Eris, -And many others who are depicted on coins throughout the period of numismatics in their first thousand years.

Conclusion: Kim is in a place sacred to numismatists where he can study and devote himself to the coins that are the cradle of the world of image stamping in metal -All these figures formed the obverse of Greek coins.

I think it's one of the Greek islands - I have to look there, I've been to "Corfu" once and I'll try the westernmost one? I don't know which one it is.

Santorini - I would look there for the meaning and essence of life

Ahoj Ivan
