Counterstamped u on chilean un centavo coin,need help identifying the Countersta

The coin weighs around 5 grams and is 21.3 mm. When I bought the coin he said it was a plantation token.

Hi Coinwalla,

Be carefull with those “counterstamped” chilean 1 centavo and 2 centavos pieces of that period.

Mostly the coins are legit, but it is very difficult to know wether they were conterstamped for a "second use" (nitrate company tokens or plantation tokens or something similar) or if somebody had a nice afternoon stamping big letter on them. But something is absolutely sure: they are not USD 1000.- worth!!!!!
