ECB 5 Euros 2002 Security Thread Differentiation [решено]

I just recently received my first note of the Euro, a 5 Euro note printed and issued in Austria from the 2002 Series (N#201655). I was logging it and was having trouble differentiating between each security thread type. Could someone help?

Here’s my note’s security thread.

+1 I have trouble too so I'm not sure whether my reply will help (or not).

Check this link from the BNM to get a visual on these minor variations.   I cannot see the difference on my notes so I just ignore the designation.  Certifiers have yet to acknowledge the various printer's codes (which are found in various regions & are much easier to see), let alone these minor differences in the security strips.

Another site I have found helpful to get more info on the Euro is EuroBillTracker

B in your case. Check only the sections where 5 is on top of the euro sign and ignore those with a 5 surrounded by stars. If it's Latin alphabet on the right edge it's A, Greek alphabet on the right edge is B.

Thank you so much!
