Hello, my name is Rick…I'm wondering if anyone knows what this is, how many were made? Thanks.

Hello and welcome to Numista!

Not a coin but a medal.  Looks like made of silver and 252 were made.

N#121018

Just a small reminder about the inscription on the medal.

What we have on the website doesn't quite fit me in the English translation.

*I know a little Russian and I read the end of "The Nation", in Russian. Not to the people (although the people make up the nation - so the translation is by phrase and not meaning).

Forever with the Russian nation

-This is on our website and I don't like it

People are people and the word nation is a nation and not people.   Люди -would have to be at the end -tak se píše Rusky,, lid,,

Colleagues, correct me if I have forgotten everything after 42 years since graduation?

Low mintage - will be valuable.

I must add that it is current and live, but don't write, just read:

,, Only for fans of history, I do not recommend the discussion, but it is good to know and evaluate history.

Very interesting item, and history topic.

@MIMAEL, the word "народ" can have both meaning,  "people" with a meaning "common, ordinary people", and "nation" as well. But I can agree that in the context of the medal the word "nation" would be better translation
