Paper Roll of 50 1982 ½ Penny Coins - Elizabeth II 2nd portrait

I cannot find any information on this National Westminster Bank paper roll of what appear to be uncirculated 1982 halfpenny coins, including searching this forum.

All I keep reading is that the UK does not use paper rolls for coins, with another forum suggesting British banks simply do not issue coins in rolls

Yet here I have such a roll. So what have I got exactly.

  • Are they uncirculated or just a roll issued by NatWest as part of their routine business?
  • Do they have any extra value by being in such a roll? (I do plan to leave the roll untouched).

Any thoughts are very welcome from a first time poster.

Here is a close up picture of the end. I can just make out the year 1982 on the obverse showing at both ends of the roll, which is why I am wondering if it is a roll of uncirculated 1982 coins.
