Krause has separated, correctly in my opinion, the monetary issues of Qatar and Qatar & Dubai and attributed their KM numbers accordingly. The Qatar & Dubai coinage was issued from within a Monetary Union between the two states under the status of a British Protectorate between 1966 and 1971. The coinage of Qatar was issued from 1971 when Qatar became an independent state after Britain ceased its protective role over the Persian Gulf States. However, Numista has combined these two separate entities under one "Country" called Qatar and consequently has duplicated KM numbers within the same region, for example I have these two coins:

This means that, according to the Numista catalogue, I have two totally different coins which are both listed as Qatar KM#4 which, apart from being quite confusing, is totally incorrect. These two regions should be separated in line with the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
