Thanks :)

I have quite a few unusual coins like these.

I got around 1500-1700 medieval coins from mostly Hungary. it was a giant bag full of coins from 1000s-1700s and im currently cataloguing everything on my secondary account “MyNameIsMia” if you want to take a look :)

there are still A LOT of coins that i struggle with or have no idea what they are exactly so expect me to post here a few more times now :P

Looking forward to seeing more!  Polish coins at least I can help with.

(Sounds like you have a lot of work/fun ahead)

Hey quick question.

Ik the “how much is it worth" question is kinda annoying but I'm currently putting price tags on all my coins in my collection and I'd like to know a realistic price for that piece if possible :)

Here is a list of recent auction sales of your type (I think Kop. 3053):  https://www.coinarchives.com/w/results.php?search=Opolczyk+kwartnik+3053&s=0&upcoming=0&results=100

Current exchange rate is 4.3 PLN = euro, so the range is from 80 - 500 euro.

It is VERY difficult to say what will appeal to a buyer of a medieval coin like this.  The good points of your coin are that it is well-centered and the strike is pretty good in the center, so the design shows well.  Negative point, of course are the planchet defects (the two cracks).

I think there would be buyers willing to pay, say, 150 euros.

Damn that's quite a bit more than i expected, thanks a lot!

i had it estimated at 30€ since i don't really know anything about medieval coins and i went with similar prices to old Hungarian coins which seem to be a lot cheaper. I mean i guess that as you mentioned before that this isn't a very common coin so i get the price.

Thanks a lot again <3
