How's this passed QC I will never know

I have carefully examined it no scratches or anything like I expected, it left the mint in this state seems to of spun when getting design minted on rear and face is pitted all over

Any an idea on value

How are you sure it is directly from the mint? It looks like it was buried, cleaned, then buried again

Released by the mint like this? No way! Unless you can come up with some proof, it’s PMD.

Looks sand blasted! Anyway a “clear” PMD coin.

No scratches on it at all no way it's been tampered with

Have another look it's as if it was struck twice in the front, and I don't know what happened the world food program design when being minted I'm no expert hence the post but guessing it's a known error as I've seen others on eBay but not to the same extent

Kind of like stars above the 2 on the front too the top left

Don’t ask a question if you don’t want to hear the answer.

It's hard to see the thin scratches because of the damage done afterwards. But the thicker gouges can still be seen.

€1,000????  Really?

Thank you for the info

I'm not trying to scam anyone hence posting to a numistics forum

Would anyone be able to inform me what actually happened it

No. there is no way to infer how that much damage can happen to a bit of metal.

i speculate it lay in a tank station parking lot for whole winter.

your listing says its an error coin when it is not. you've been told that this is post-mind-damage, the coin was never like this from the mint. It's worth 2 euros. 🤡dont get how you think you can come here and tell us we're wrong when theres alot of experts here.

You asked the question, you didn't like the answers and ignored them.

The OP must be intellectually blocked, the coin is a Post Mint Damaged coin and nothing else, what's so difficult to understand about that. I see coins like that every day…..

I have to agree only on the count they're so stubborn about it. I have no clue how people can see a foreign coin and think “this isn't like MY money, this must be worth a fortune!”

-Ash

In Australia we call a coin like that a Roadkill coin. It has been run over many times or possibly left on a beach for years.

Literally a one in a million chance of 2 digits used consecutively, 8 4 times and 4 twice   Actually that's not exactly true.  448888 also.
